As a Bride-to-Be, you place an enormous amount of pressure upon yourself to ensure you look perfect for your wedding day – you want glowing skin, radiant features, and you want to look the best you ever have. At Fresh Aesthetics, we want this for you too! But we also know that this is not the time to drastically change your face, or to take enormous risks.

As a brand, we already hold the value of a traditional and subtle approach to cosmetic enhancements close to our hearts. For your big day, we simply want you to look fresher, brighter and elegantly enhanced – whilst still looking like you. We want you to look and feel your best, so our approach with brides gives you the chance to settle into your treatment and decide if it is right for you.

Our approach to dermal filler is simple and timeless. We aim to restore volume in the face that has been lost with age, and to subtly correct any imbalanced features you may be insecure about – without creating a ‘fake’ or ‘overdone’ look. For us, dermal filler is an art, and we truly believe that less is more – so perfectly placed small volumes will restore harmony in your appearance, and give you that boost of rejuvenation.

Anti-wrinkle is a treatment that will subtly smooth your skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and allow for an even better makeup application on your big day. However, because we understand that you need time to decide if the treatment is right for you (especially if it’s your first time!), we suggest that all anti-wrinkle treatments should be carried out approximately 6 months prior to your wedding day.

This 6 month space will allow you to experience the results and fall in love for yourself, whilst wearing off within 3-5 months. This way, you can come back to us for a second treatment to have optimal results in time for your big day. Should you decide that the treatment isn’t for you, it’s effects will be completely worn off by the time your wedding comes around – so with Fresh Aesthetics, you can rest assured that you’re covered no matter what path you choose.

Anti-Wrinkle – What is it?
The formal name for anti-wrinkle is botulinum toxin. This is a prescription muscle relaxant and is used for the treatment of wrinkles via injection. Once injected into a muscle, it will reduce excessive contractions of that particular muscle – thus, preventing fine lines from becoming deep-set into the skin and maintaining your youthful glow.
Where is anti-wrinkle commonly used?
Anti-wrinkle is commonly used in areas such as the forehead, glabella (between the eyebrows) and crows feet (fan lines from the corner of the eyes).

It can also be used in the masseter muscle to temporarily treat bruxism, cosmetically slim the jawline, lift the eyebrows and minimise the presence of excessive gum tissue when smiling.

How long before it takes effect?
Post-treatment, the anti-wrinkle will usually start to take effect between 2-4 days and it reaches full effect by 14 days.
How long does it last?
This depends on the site of treatment. The average time before you will need to return for a top up is approximately 3-5 months, except in the masseter/jaw muscle w- which lasts 6-9 months.
Is there anything I need to do post-treatment?
Please refer to our aftercare instructions page for what to expect and do’s/don’ts post treatment. We love to follow up with our patients, so part of our service will be inviting you to come in 14 days post-treatment to check in.
What products are used?
We use market leading anti-wrinkle products which have been approved for safe use in Australia by the therapeutic goods administration (TGA). Listing names is not permitted by the TGA, but they come from major, reputable American and European pharmaceutical companies.
What happens if/when I decide to not continue with anti-wrinkle?
With muscle movement being stronger, you’ll find that the lines you’ve been preventing start to slowly crease again at the same rate your skin would normally age.
Even if you’ve decided not to continue with treatments and the benefits of your prior anti-wrinkle treatment diminish, you would still have gained all the wrinkle-free years from your prior treatments.
Can numbing cream be used?
We offer one of the strongest local numbing agents on the market at our clinic and always use this for all lip treatments. For all other areas, it may certainly be requested.
Can I have a treatment if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Unfortunately we cannot provide you with any cosmetic services if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Dermal Fillers – What are they?
Dermal fillers are a naturally occurring, aesthetic gel-based treatment that are injected into the different layers of skin. It is used to restore youth, contour and create volume for a smoother appearance of the face where the skin begins to lose volume and elasticity with age.
Where are fillers commonly used?
Dermal fillers are commonly used in areas such as the cheeks, nose, nasolabial folds (lines running from nose to mouth), marionette lines (lines that run down from the corners of the mouth), lips and chin.
How long before it takes effect?
After your treatment, results are instantly visible.
How long does it last?
This depends upon the site of the treatment and the type of filler used. Results can last anywhere between 6 to 18 months before being naturally absorbed by the body.
Is there anything I need to do post-treatment?

Why is there maintenance of filler and botulinum toxin?
Unfortunately, there is no permanent solution to both; however, just like your hair, nails and lashes, upkeep is required (every 3-9 months for relaxers, or 6-24 months for fillers) to keep you looking fresh.
Can I fly after my treatment?
We do have many visiting clients, however, we would absolutely prefer to follow the guideline below. This is so we can follow up and offer the best care that we can.
Interstate: we recommend staying at least 24 hours post treatment
Overseas: we recommend staying 1 week post treatment.
Is there a waitlist?
As spots are usually booked one month in advance, we do encourage clients to plan ahead and book early. Bookings are open two months in advance.
If you keep checking back on the online booking portal, time slots will always become available when there are cancellations. You may find better success this way as it is in real time.
